CURRENT RESEARCH INTERESTS
Structural (FT-IR and Raman spectroscopy) and dynamic (impedance spectroscopy) studies of inorganic glasses, including fast-ion conducting, oxide and chalcogenide glasses.
- Structure-property correlation in glasses, with emphasis on ionic conductivity, optical properties, density and glass transition temperature.
- Studies of chemical processes (isomerisation and disproportionation equilibria) which underline the glass transition.
- Molecular orientation in polymers by polarized infrared spectroscopic techniques.
