Explanation

Enter data in one or more of the search fields. If more than one is used, the search will be performed as a Boolean AND-search on all the fields entered. Use ? (question mark) to perform a truncated search. (Only right truncating is available).

If you enter more than one word in the Free text field, those words will also be combined as Boolean AND. If you would rather have a Boolean OR search, please select the button Boolean OR!

If you select the browse button, you will get an index scan (browse) instead of a search. From the resulting list of index entries, you may next select one entry for search. If you in this case enter data in more than one field, only the first field will be recognized.

Click on the heading for a particular field to get a detailed description of how to enter the search string for this field.
